MISSION STATEMENT
The Lay Speaking Ministry at Hamilton Park United Methodist Church is committed to the Scripture and doctrine, heritage, organization and life of The United Methodist Church. Whereby, we will provide witness to our faith to the Body of Believers through spoken communication, church and community leadership and care-giving ministries.
MINISTRY PURPOSE
The purpose of this ministry is to provide effective leadership to the congregation. Willing to serve as the chairman of a committee or a project; willing to support the local church or charge conference with their time, talent and spiritual gifts; or simply working behind-the-scenes doing work necessary to complete a task or support a ministry.
MINISTRY VISION
Our goal is to prepare lay members of the church to be in leadership, mission, and ministry. Beyond preaching, the focus is on leading, caring, and communication. Through educating, equipping, and empowering lay members to serve within the local church and the connection.
