Mission Statement

The men who attend Brother To Brother have made a commitment to God and the church to set a standard of servant-hood for their families, our church, and the community.  We invite you to take part with us as we work to become the man God has called us to be.  There are "No More Excuses.

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!  It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

Psalms 133:1-3

Purpose

Our men's bible study class is informal, intuitive, intriguing, delightful, and personal.  Our class is designed to open up the hearts, minds, and souls of everyday men in everyday life situations.  Each and every third Tuesday of the month, Brother To Brother meets at the church to travel to the Austin Street Shelter to Feed the Homeless.  Furthermore; once a month, brothers are invited to a local restaurant to break bread and fellowship.

Objective

Brother To Brother follows a designed study format quite like Disciples I, II and III.  In our Brother To Brother classes, we read and discuss a chapter each week from best-selling Christian formatted books written by esteem gentlemen and ministers such as Chuck Swindell, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Reverend Kirbyjohn Caldwell, Paul Tomlinson, Bishop Eddie Long, and Dr. Tony Evans.  After each class, a summation is written and sent to each brother via email.
