The HPark Higher Education Ministry will be honoring 2012 high school, college and professional school graduates with a program luncheon on, Saturday, May 19, 2012, at noon, in the CLC. Church family and friends are invited to attend the luncheon in recognition of the accomplishments of our graduates. | Black Methodist for Church Renewal Annual Conference Luncheon Black Methodist for Church Renewal of the North Texas Conference will be hosting a luncheon at 12 noon during Annual Conference, on Tuesday June 5, 2012, at Hamilton Park United Methodist Church. The featured speaker for the luncheon is Dr. Henry Masters. Dr. Masters has been appointed to St. Luke “Community” United Methodist Church, as Senior Pastor, effective July 1, 2012. The cost of the event is $20.00. Proceeds will go towards strengthening and resourcing the local BMCR caucus. | Ushers Needed The Greeting and Courtesy Council #1 is requesting joyful and happy people looking to serve as ushers at the 8:00 am and11:00 am services on the 3rd Sunday of each month, and every other first Sunday. This is a wonderful ministry where you welcome members and guests and help our church service run smoothly. Step to Fitness
It’s a new season and Steps to Fitness resumed in January. “Steps to Fitness” is still at HPUMC featuring dance lessons in swing out and line dancing. This class is for adults and youth. Classes are scheduled 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month. For more information contact Kathy Turner Johnson at 972.768.0116. You do not need a dance partner to attend and please remember to “bring your own bottled water”!
